A pivotal juncture in my artistic evolution was marked by my departure from this established style when I painted my first pet—a venture into minimalism with a pristine white backdrop devoid of layers. Fortunately this style and subject matter became fairly successful for me and I have enjoyed painting numerous pets all with unique stories.
